Football Season is almost here!! And that means it’s time for our annual “EDGE Fantasy Football” Contest.

Each week, the team at the EDGE will make their picks and post them on the site. Then you make your picks….

If you beat the EDGE record for the week, you are entered into our drawing for a FREE SB Weekend for one!!!

Enter every week for your chance to win!

RULES AND INFORMATION:

All picks must be submitted BEFORE the first game of the week. If your picks arrive after games have been played, you will automatically lose all games that were played before your submission.

Chuck Russell Award – Summer 2010

Chuck Russell was a a uniquely enthusiastic guest at Woodloch for 20 years. He drove extremely long distances to be here every year.
He love the spirit of the competitions at Woodloch. He participated in all of them.
Chuck put all his energy into helping the team, but he didn’t care if he won or lost. He made every effort to help the children on his teams.
Check loved to win; but he genuinely applauded the victor is he lost. He personified the spirit of the Woodloch games.

Chuck lost the battle to cancer in 1995 and in his honor we present the “Chuck Russell Award” each week during the summer.
The True Spirit of the Woodloch Games.

Monthly Winners

Have you sent us your favorite Woodloch vacation photos yet for our contest? We have been getting a LOT of questions lately, so we decided to help you out!

Here is the deal:

You send us your Favorite vacation photos. We are looking for FUN pictures….things out of the ordinary. Sure, a picture of the lake at sunset is beautiful….but we are trying to capture all the fun and excitement from your Woodloch photos. So send us goofy…off the wall….maybe even a little embarrassing photos!!! (Let’s keep it clean…we are a family resort)

Specifics:

1. Send us the LARGEST file you can send. Most email programs will allow you to send files up to 10mb. High Res photos will usually be less than HALF that!

(we have received a lot of photos that are 400×350…TOO SMALL!! )

2. Send us the photo directly. Please don’t send us a link to a photo gallery (kodak, shutterfly).

3. Cell phone pictures won’t work for this contest. We need to print the photos 8X10 for our wall. So please refrain from sending them…we just can’t use them no matter how great they are! Sorry!

4. Try to limit your submissions to one or two of your favorite photos. We realize that some people think “the more I send, the better chance I have”. We receive quite a few entries…so just send us your BEST!!

5. Not ALL submission make the web site. We look at EVERY submission. But we can’t post all the photos. Our judging panel picks their favorites, and we post them. At the end of the month, the panel makes their pick.

6. If your photo doesn’t win in June, it might win in September….there is NO time limit on the photos. So you remain in the running for the length of the contest.

Woodloch + Segtown mean…Segways have arrived at Woodloch!!!

Have you ever had the chance to ride a Segway? They are super cool, and a LOT of fun!

Here are the details:

13 & Older to ride
Sign ups at the FRONT DESK
Weight restrictions: 100lbs – 250lbs
Ages 13 through 18 need a guardians signature, and that guardian MUST go to the tour and sign the waiver
NO Sharing of Segways
